Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the 2026 Inaugural Lady Lassos Dance Team. The Lady Lassos proudly represent the Sherman Stampede, bringing high-energy, pro-level performance to game days all season long as part of The Basketball League (TBL).

Audition Timeline
All dancers must complete audition registration to be considered. First round is virtual.
All dancers must complete Audition Registration to be considered.
Choreography will be emailed to all dancers who completed registration.
Deadline to learn & submit a video performing the choreography. (Video submission instructions will be provided.)
Selected dancers will be invited to the final in-person callback & interview.

The Lady Lassos Dance Team is directed by Jourdyn Moore-Plaza.
Jourdyn Moore-Plaza
With over 10 years of experience in professional dance and live entertainment, Jourdyn brings elite performance and leadership experience, having performed with the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Legends, and Allen Americans. She has served as a Dance Director in MLR, UFA, and with the USA Cheerleaders, and currently works in casting and booking professional dancers at the industry level.

Is the first round virtual?
Yes — the first round is virtual. Choreography will be emailed to registered dancers on Tuesday, February 3.
When are video submissions due?
Video submissions are due Friday, February 6. Submission instructions will be provided.
What is the age requirement?
Dancers must be 18 years of age or older, or will be by March 1, 2026.
Where are final callbacks held?
Final callbacks are in-person and invite-only. Selected dancers will receive details directly.
